Welfare and Safeguarding

At the London School of English, we understand how important it is for our Young Adults in London to feel safe and secure whilst they are away. This is always our top priority. We have dedicated, trained staff available at all times throughout their stay. We supervise our Young Adults day and night and we are always available to help on a practical or emotional level.

Our low staff-to-student-ratio ensures that each individual is cared for and safeguarded to the highest standards. We take every precaution to make sure that there will not be any difficulties, but we understand that for some students, this experience is a big step. With this in mind, we are committed to promoting positive mental well-being for all our students while they are here with us. Our staff are kind, caring and experienced in noticing and addressing any problems students may face at an early stage. In this way, we can prevent these problems from becoming larger issues.

We provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment where our young adults can live and learn safely. Their mental well-being and welfare is always our number one priority and a responsibility we take very seriously at all times.

In the unlikely event that your child is unwell or injured while in our care, we have comprehensive procedures in place to look after them and keep parents and guardians informed at all times.

Your child will have a 24-hour phone number that they can call at any time if they have any problems, from arrival to departure.
